ConsultANZ is seeking a qualified Automotive Electrician for a provider of fire protection and suppression systems across mining, commercial, residential, and industrial sectors in Western Australia. In this role, you will work across workshop, site, and field environments. Main Duties Diagnose and repair electrical and electronic faults using test equipment Install, maintain, and repair 12V and 24V systems on vehicles and heavy equipment Carry out electrical fit-outs, upgrades, and maintenance on mining and industrial machinery Repair or replace faulty components such as wiring, alternators, starters, switches, and fuses Install electrical and electronic systems, including control and monitoring devices Read and interpret electrical diagrams and technical manuals Perform testing, servicing, and preventative maintenance Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards Complete job reports and communicate with the team as required Requirements Trade qualification (Certificate III in Auto Electrical Technology or equivalent) Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role Experience with heavy vehicles, mining, or industrial equipment Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills Ability to read electrical schematics Safety-focused with strong attention to detail Able to work independently and as part of a team Current driver’s licence Benefits Competitive base salary, negotiable depending on experience Permanent full-time role with job stability Ongoing training and development Supportive, safety-focused work environment Opportunity to work with advanced fire suppression and industrial systems APPLY NOW!
