Job Description Employment Type: Part-time and full-time positions available In this role, you will be part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team committed to delivering person-centred, high-quality, and safe mental health care. You will be responsible for conducting mental health assessments, developing and implementing care plans, delivering therapeutic interventions, and monitoring the mental health and wellbeing of individuals in detention. This is a fantastic opportunity to provide a wide range of mental health services, including crisis intervention, risk assessments, medication administration, psychoeducation, and support for individuals with complex mental health needs. The role focuses on delivering compassionate and trauma-informed care that respects the dignity, culture, values, beliefs, and rights of detainees, while contributing to a supportive and inclusive healthcare environment. Let's talk about you! You will be an AHPRA-registered Nurse (General, unrestricted registration) with either a minimum of five (5) years’ experience as a Registered Nurse in mental health (non-telehealth) plus a post-graduate qualification in mental health. OR You will be an AHPRA-registered Nurse (General, unrestricted registration) with either a minimum of seven (7) years’ experience as a Mental Health Registered Nurse without a post-graduate qualification.
