We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. Key Responsibilities: Preparing and cooking high-quality meals in accordance with venue standards Assisting with menu planning and seasonal menu development Ensuring consistency in food presentation, portioning, and quality control Monitoring stock levels and assisting with ordering and stock rotation Maintaining food safety, hygiene, and WHS standards at all times Supervising kitchen operations during service periods Assisting with training and mentoring junior kitchen staff Minimising food wastage and ensuring efficient kitchen operations Working collaboratively with the wider hospitality team to deliver exceptional customer experiences Skills & Experience: Relevant trade qualification in Commercial Cookery would be an advantage Previous experience working as a Chef in a busy kitchen environment Strong knowledge of food safety and kitchen operations Ability to work efficiently under pressure Excellent communication and teamwork skills Passion for quality food and hospitality This is a fantastic opportunity to join a respected venue within the Hunter region and further develop your hospitality career. service.
