Role Description This is a contractor-based role for a Community Physiotherapist, located in Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne VIC who is willing to travel throughout different suburbs. The role involves performing comprehensive initial assessments, developing and implementing individualised rehabilitation plans, and managing a varied caseload including neurological, cardiorespiratory, geriatric and musculoskeletal conditions. This role also includes educating patients and families, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and maintaining accurate clinical documentation. This is a role suited to a clinician who is confident working independently in the community and passionate about neurological and aged care rehabilitation. Qualifications We are looking for someone who is: Experienced in working with neurological and geriatric patients (community or hospital experience required) Compassionate, professional, and confident in building rapport with patients Strong in communication skills with excellent bedside manner Confident working autonomously in the community Proficient with performing comprehensive assessments and treatment planning Essential requirements include: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy Qualified Physiotherapist with current AHPRA registration Professional Indemnity and Public Liability insurance Current Police Check (or willingness to obtain) First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain) ABN (or willingness to obtain) Own vehicle and valid driver’s licence Proficient in English and full working rights in Australia
