About the Role BRG is seeking an experienced Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Specialist (Level 3) to support the Aerospace Explosive Systems Program Office (AEOSPO) within EMB. This is a highly transactional, delivery-focused role centred on Introduction Into Service (IIS) for MRGM-ER, requiring strong ILS capability combined with practical Project Management experience. This role will work across stakeholders, SPOs, OEMs, user communities and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) logistics channels to develop, analyse and deliver critical logistics artefacts required to transition new Explosive Ordnance capability into operational service. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring Defence can field a fully supported and sustainable weapon system capability from Day 1 of operational release, reducing risks related to sustainment readiness, materiel support gaps and acquisition milestone delays. Operating with a high level of independence, this position requires strong judgement, initiative and subject-matter expertise to align logistics elements with broader capability and sustainment objectives. Key Details Location: Penrith (DEOH) – Amberley may be considered for highly suitable candidates with full skill alignment Security Clearance: NV1 required Skill Code: 3.1 Integrated Logistics Support Management – Level 3 Working Arrangement: Onsite preferred (No remote) Duties & Responsibilities Build the logistics framework required to transition new Explosive Ordnance into service Develop and establish key Introduction Into Service (IIS) logistics artefacts, including: Transportation Plans Disposal Plans Integrated Product Management Plans Maintenance Management Plans Interpret and ensure compliance with legislative, policy and regulatory frameworks Establish inventory management controls, inventory cataloguing and configuration management within ERP and COMSARM systems Coordinate with Foreign Military Sales (FMS) logistics stakeholders to ensure delivery of Explosive Ordnance case requirements Contribute SME input and progress reporting to AARGM-ER monthly stakeholder meetings Identify logistics risks and recommend materiel logistics solutions impacting capability outcomes Maintain current logistics reporting and support adherence to overall project schedule and acquisition milestones Support integration of new weapon systems into existing Defence sustainment frameworks To be Successful Demonstrated Level 3 ILS experience within Defence acquisition or sustainment environments Strong Introduction Into Service (IIS) and transactional logistics delivery capability Practical Project Management experience supporting logistics outcomes Experience working across SPOs, OEMs, user groups and multiple stakeholder environments Strong understanding of Defence logistics governance, policy and regulatory requirements Experience with ERP, COMSARM, inventory management and configuration control Ability to work independently while managing competing priorities Strong communication, reporting and stakeholder engagement capability NV1 Security Clearance Why This Role Stands Out This is an excellent opportunity for an ILS professional who thrives in hands-on capability delivery and wants to directly support the establishment of a critical Defence weapon system from acquisition through to sustainable operational release.
