An exciting opportunity is now available for an experienced Supervisor to join our Coal Operations team in Mudgee, based onsite and leading day‑to‑day operational delivery. This role suits a confident frontline leader who enjoys being close to the action, leading people through complexity, and making real decisions that matter. What You’ll Do As a Supervisor within our Mudgee Coal operations, you’ll play a key leadership role in delivering safe and reliable rail services in a 24/7 environment. Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will: Lead and coordinate daily coal train operations across day and night shifts Provide strong, visible safety leadership in a high‑risk operational setting Lead, coach and engage a large, diverse workforce of up to 90 operational employees Support train crews through clear communication, planning and on‑the‑ground leadership Manage resources, respond to disruptions and make real‑time operational decisions Drive productivity, reliability and continuous improvement Effectively manage performance, attendance and employee relations matters Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners This is a hands‑on leadership role with scale, influence and genuine accountability. What You’ll Bring We’re open‑minded about background. Rail experience is valued — but not essential. What matters most is your leadership capability and safety mindset. You’ll bring: Proven experience leading large teams in rail, transport, logistics, mining, heavy industry or similar operational environments Demonstrated ability to lead safe work practices and influence safety culture Strong people leadership skills, including performance and attendance management Clear communication, sound judgment and confident decision‑making The ability to thrive in a 24/7, shift‑based environment Current Australian C Class Driver’s Licence Why join us?
