What We Offer: Company vehicle provided Mobile phone provided Laptop provided Ongoing training and development Supportive team environment Stable long-term opportunity RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS POSITION: Ongoing maintenance, repairs and troubleshooting of existing systems Installing new irrigation systems for residential and commercial applications Ongoing maintenance, repairs and troubleshooting of existing systems Read and interpret site plans and specification Working efficiently and completing tasks in a timely manner Proactively show initiative with ideas, problem solving, amendments and providing regular communication to supervisors. Ability to adapt, troubleshoot and problem solve on the job Accurate reporting and record keeping for invoicing and accounting purposes Liaising with customers to arrange a suitable servicing and maintenance program Assists in the provision of on-the-job training. Inspect products and/or materials for compliance with established operational standards Temporary warning signs placed when required.Understand and comply with quality, safety, health and environmental policies. Tasks to be carried out in a manner that causes the least inconvenience to customers, staff and the general public. Operate equipment and machinery in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations and the SNT operating procedures Report maintenance and repair issues to the area supervisor. Skills And Experiences SELECTION CRITERIA: ESSENTIALS: Class C Driver’s Licence (manual) Knowledge of different types of irrigation systems Certificate III in irrigation or equivalent Not less than four years’ experience in irrigation Work under limited supervision either individually or in a team environment. Knowledge of safety procedures and protocols. A satisfactory National Police Security Check Report. Be physically able to perform the duties of the position Be able to perform manual work for long periods outdoors DESIRABLE: OCHRE Card (or be willing to obtain) Construction Industry White Card (or be willing to obtain)
