A fresh chapter is opening on the harbour. Adina Apartment Hotel Sydney Darling Harbour is reopening following a full refurbishment. Re-emerging as a premium apartment hotel in one of Sydney’s most vibrant waterfront locations. Located on King Street Wharf, just moments from Barangaroo, ICC Sydney and the CBD, the hotel offers 114 spacious studios and apartments designed to give guests the comfort, flexibility and space to stay their own way. This is a rare opportunity to join the team ahead of reopening and help shape the guest experience from day one. About the role As Night Auditor, you’ll be the person who makes sure every number adds up and every guest is looked after, all while the rest of the world sleeps. You’ll review the day’s operations, close out financial reports, support guests with anything they need overnight, and hold the fort in the absence of department heads. It’s a role that rewards accuracy, calm and genuine care. What you’ll be doing You’ll review the daily activities of Front Office and Food & Beverage, reconciling transactions and producing accurate financial and yield reports that set the team up for a strong start the next day. In the absence of department heads, you’ll oversee hotel operations with a calm, steady presence - making sure everything is in order and guests are well looked after. You’ll record and address guest feedback promptly and thoughtfully, resolving any issues with care while upholding the highest standards of security and privacy. From front office processes to F&B operations, you’ll ensure everything runs in line with our policies and brand standards, so nothing slips through the cracks overnight. About you You have a sharp eye for detail, a genuine care for guests, and the kind of composure that means you’re at your best when things need to stay steady. You take accuracy seriously, and you take people seriously too. You’ll ideally bring: Experience in a Night Auditor or similar overnight hotel role, ideally within a premium or upper-upscale property Familiarity with Opera Cloud or a similar hotel management system A strong understanding of hotel finance principles and night audit processes A warm, calm manner with guests – you know how to handle a request or resolve an issue with care Flexibility to work a rotating roster including nights, weekends and public holidays Why join TFE Hotels?
