The role ALS Geochemistry is seeking a Production Coordinator to join our team in Canning Vale . This is a full-time role with full training provided. Daily duties and responsibilities will include: Coordinate production volumes to drive optimal output and maximize operational efficiency. Monitor team and individual performance, address underperformance through HR processes, and review workflows and procedures to improve productivity and minimize waste. Proactively recommend resources, prioritize urgent work orders, and liaise with other sections to ensure timely delivery of results. Manage staffing levels, rosters, and workloads in line with workflows, production targets, deadlines, and operational requirements through labour management, recruitment, and cross-training. Implement operational changes and new procedures while managing compliance requirements, reporting, payroll support, and client queries. Maintain compliance with ALS HSE standards through toolbox talks, health checks, contractor management, incident investigations, hazard observations, section inspections, and fostering a strong “Safety as a Priority” culture. The essentials At least 5 years of demonstrated Operations experience, preferably with 2 years or more in a supervisory role. Strong Leadership skills and an ability to motivate and develop staff. Strong personnel management ability, particularly in recruitment, staff development, conflict management and performance management. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. A highly organized nature with an ability to manage multiple objectives daily. Excellent planning, organizational and time management skills. The ability to work to deadlines. Excellent analytical thought pattern, observation skills and problem-solving ability.
