About the role As a Lifestyle Assistant at Villa Maria Eastern Heights, you’ll play a vital role in creating meaningful, engaging experiences that enrich the lives of our residents and support their wellbeing, independence and sense of connection.Working as part of our Lifestyle Team, you will support the delivery of engaging lifestyle and leisure programs that reflect each resident’s interests, abilities, cultural background and spiritual beliefs. You’ll build warm relationships with residents, families and colleagues while contributing to a safe, positive and inclusive home environment. Key responsibilities include: Supporting the planning and delivery of individual and group lifestyle activities Encouraging resident participation and social connection Assisting with lifestyle assessments, documentation and activity records Working collaboratively with the Lifestyle Team, care staff and volunteers Maintaining a safe environment by following all WHS and infection control procedures Positively representing Catholic Healthcare’s values and purpose in all interactions About you You are caring, enthusiastic and genuinely enjoy supporting older people to live well. You bring a positive attitude and are keen to grow your skills in the lifestyle and engagement space.
