The Southport School is seeking a highly capable and proactive Executive Assistant to support the Chief Financial and Operations Officer (CFOO) and contribute to the effective running of the School’s administrative and governance functions. About the Role This is a trusted, fast-paced role supporting a senior executive. You will manage priorities, provide high-level administrative and governance support, and ensure the smooth operation of the CFOO’s office. You will work across diary and stakeholder management, board and committee coordination, reporting, and confidential projects. Key Responsibilities Manage the CFOO’s diary, communications, and priorities Prepare reports, correspondence, presentations, and briefings Coordinate meetings, agendas, papers and minutes Support School Council and Committee governance processes Administer Board Portal and governance documentation Conduct research and manage confidential matters Coordinate events, travel and stakeholder engagement Liaise with staff, parents, Council members and external vendors Support compliance reporting and project work Skills and Experience Minimum 5 years’ experience in a senior Executive Assistant role Exceptional organisational skills with ability to manage competing priorities Strong judgement and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment Outstanding written and verbal communication skills High level of discretion, professionalism, and confidentiality Advanced MS Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) Experience supporting Boards/Committees (highly regarded) Strong attention to detail and advanced proofreading skills Understanding of governance and financial processes (desirable) Positive, proactive and calm under pressure Why Join TSS As part of our TSS team and community, we offer all our employees a wonderfully supportive working environment, including access to our exceptional facilities (gym, pool, tennis courts) as part of our wellbeing offering, and we encourage all of our corporate team members to become engaged in the wider school programthrough our sporting and cultural programs.
