About FAMASO FAMASO is a growing facilities and grounds maintenance company expanding across Australia. We're after an experienced gardener to take the lead on the tools at a major managed facility in South Australia. The Role A hands-on senior role for a skilled grounds maintenance operator. You'll deliver landscaping, horticulture and basic irrigation work, direct the day-to-day work of a site labourer, and run the team when the Supervisor's away, while staying fully on the tools. What you'll do Skilled horticultural maintenance, pruning, mulching, fertilising, weed control, garden beds, lawns and hedges Identify plant health issues, pests and disease, and treat under direction Operate ride-on mowers, brushcutters, hedge trimmers and blowers safely Routine pruning of small trees and shrubs for pathway and roadway clearance Inspect irrigation systems and carry out minor repairs (sprinkler heads, controllers, simple pipe repairs) Direct the site labourer and set the standard on site Follow site work orders, SWMS and WHS requirements What you'll need 3 years in commercial or institutional grounds maintenance Sound horticultural knowledge and plant ID Confident on common landscaping equipment Working knowledge of irrigation and minor repairs Current driver's licence and White Card National Police Clearance & Working with Children Check (before commencement) Nice to have: Cert III Horticulture, ChemCert, chainsaw ticket, healthcare/government site experience.
