Job Description As an Engineering Surveyor at Nelson Surveyors, you will be responsible for data collection, processing, and reporting across projects in both metropolitan and regional areas. You will work closely with colleagues, clients, and project teams to ensure accurate and reliable surveying outcomes. Key Responsibilities Surveying Operations: Manage surveying activities to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance across all projects. Project Coordination: Collaborate with clients, contractors, and authorities to align surveying work with project objectives. Technology & Compliance: Utilise modern surveying equipment and software while ensuring adherence to legal, safety, and environmental standards. Team Collaboration & Leadership: Support team members and provide mentorship to junior surveyors in a collaborative environment. Resource Management: Maintain and coordinate equipment and scheduling to maximise operational efficiency. Qualifications & Experience Diploma or higher qualification in Surveying or Spatial Data Management. Several years of relevant industry experience. Proficiency in 12d, Liscad, AutoCAD/BricsCAD, or similar surveying software. Experience with point cloud data processing is highly desirable. Drone licence and experience are advantageous.
