The role is responsible for maintaining all turfed areas in accordance with prescribed service expectations and assists in implementing schedules for turf renovation, fertilising and spraying as required. The role will also: Supervise staff within the mowing operations team and support the training and development of team members Arrange the servicing, maintenance and repairs of plant and equipment Contribute to regular toolbox meetings and continuous improvement initiatives What we’re Looking For The successful candidate will have: Experience in the use and maintenance of all relevant mowing equipment including tractors and tractor attachments, Verti-Drain machines and fertiliser spreaders Ability to oversee the supervision and training of staff in accordance with recognised safe practices, WorkSafe (WA) requirements and the City’s policies and procedures Formal qualifications in horticulture and turf management (desirable) Current C class Driver’s Licence and HR Licence (essential) Relevant tickets associated with the use of equipment and machinery How to Apply Applications must be submitted online and include a CV and cover letter, which outlines your suitability to the role.
