Operations & Client Success Manager — Technical Products Ardross, Perth WA Full-time preferred, flexible arrangement considered Office-based role | International technical products business We are an established WA business that designs, manufactures, sells and supports OFDA fibre measurement instruments for customers around the world. Our customers include textile businesses, farmers, researchers, laboratories, quality control teams, public institutions and private companies. We are looking for an organised, practical and technically comfortable person to work closely with the owner and help keep the business moving across customer orders, follow-ups, shipping, payments, agents, quotes and internal priorities. This is not a cold sales role or a call-centre role. It is a hands-on operations and client success role in a small, international technical product business. The role You will help manage the day-to-day operational flow of the business, including: tracking active orders, repairs, projects and customer follow-ups; coordinating customer updates, agent communication and selected escalations; following up quotes, warm leads and existing customer enquiries; coordinating shipping paperwork, freight bookings and payment follow-up; keeping internal priorities visible across a small team; assisting with international conference, expo and customer visit planning; helping improve systems, processes, templates and reporting; supporting the implementation and use of a CRM. You will work with systems including Xero, Trello, our custom dashboard , email and future CRM tools. What we are looking for You do not need to be an engineer, but you must be comfortable working with technical products and technical customers . The right person will have: strong organisation and follow-through; clear written and verbal communication; experience coordinating multiple orders, projects, customers, jobs or workflows; confidence dealing with customers, agents, suppliers or distributors; good attention to detail with orders, payments, shipping and follow-ups; a practical problem-solving mindset; the ability to work independently after training; comfort working in a small business where flexibility matters. Experience in technical products, instrumentation, scientific equipment, manufacturing, agriculture, engineering, electronics, research equipment or international B2B sales/support would be highly regarded. Experience in the textile industry , especially early-stage processing, fibre measurement or quality control , would be very beneficial, but is not required. We understand this is a rare skill set in Australia. Work arrangement The role is based in our Ardross office . Full-time is preferred, but we are open to flexibility for the right person. Standard business hours apply, with occasional after-hours calls for international customers. Time in lieu will apply where appropriate. Occasional international travel may be required for conferences, expos, customer visits or business support. Why join us?
