Due to continued growth, an exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Production Manager to join GEM Switchboards and lead our workshop operations on the Central Coast. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing all aspects of workshop production, ensuring quality outcomes, on-time delivery, workplace safety and team performance. Working closely with the Operations Manager, you will play a key role in driving productivity, improving manufacturing processes and leading a skilled team within a fast-paced switchboard manufacturing environment. About the Role Key responsibilities include: Managing day-to-day workshop operations and production activities Production planning and allocation of projects/resources Leading and mentoring workshop staff and apprentices Ensuring quality standards and delivery deadlines are achieved Driving continuous improvement and manufacturing efficiencies Managing workshop health & safety systems and compliance Monitoring labour hours, workflow and workshop performance Maintaining stock levels and workshop equipment requirements About You To be successful in this role, you will have: Electrical Fitter qualification or similar Minimum 10 years’ experience in switchboard manufacturing Strong leadership and team management skills Extensive knowledge of switchboard assembly and electrical standards Experience in production planning and manufacturing improvement Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement What We Offer Stable long-term opportunity with a growing business Supportive team environment Opportunity to influence and improve operations Competitive salary package based on experience If you are a motivated leader with strong technical knowledge and a passion for excellence, we would love to hear from you.
