Our Rail Division is seeking a Production Coordinator to work closely with our managers and maintenance staff to ensure the timely execution of our maintenance contracts and associated projects in accordance with company policies, and best practices. About the role: Reporting to the Project Manager, the Coordinator is responsible for planning and monitoring the execution of maintenance plans to meet demand and drive productivity improvements, while balancing capacity and resource restrictions. Qualifications & Experience: · Trade qualification, tertiary training or prior experience in a similar field is highly desirable · Experience or exposure to MRP/ERP/CMMS maintenance planning systems such as SAP, Epicor, Maximo, Oracle, AX, Dynamics etc · Experience in rail, aviation, oil and gas, mining or minerals processing industries is highly desirable · Experience in use of Microsoft Excel is essential · Exposure to QA/QC and Engineering systems and procedures is desirable Duties: · Work with the management team and customer to development rolling maintenance plans, variations, work order management and resource levelling · Contribute to development and implementation of business processes and frameworks · Liaise with a variety of internal and external stakeholders across multiple levels of the organisation to effectively plan the execution of work in alignment with the Production Plan · Communicate work in progress · Collating job costs and invoicing works performed · Ensure accuracy of material kits, work orders, & stocktakes · Drive a positive culture amongst work groups and enact continuous improvement · Maintain Daily reports · Review Maintenance Strategy with manager and customers · Creation of Purchase orders and requisitions About you: · You are an analytical thinker with strong attention to detail who demonstrates effective time management and organisational skills. · You are a leader with a strong work ethic and have the ability to show initiative and demonstrate a positive attitude. · You will also possess a strong planning, analytical and problem-solving skills to identify issues and develop solutions. · The successful applicant will be driven and have a can-do attitude with a problem solving mentality.
