MPA has offices in Brisbane, Ipswich, Sydney and Melbourne We are looking to appoint an experienced Electricial/Instrumentation Technician to our project located on the Gold Coast MPA currently provides project services in Water Treatment, Mining, Building Services and also for a number of industrial manufacturers. Key tasks: Interpretation of technical documentation, drawings, and procedures Completion of reports, calibration records and required documentation Ensuring all work is completed in compliance with company procedures, safety requirements, and industry best practice Perform full instrument loop checks, motor verifications, bumping, and point-to-point testing. Conduct meggering of cables and equipment to verify insulation integrity. Verify instrument calibrations, continuity, and polarity prior to dynamic and functional testing. Execute Cause and Effect Testing (CFTs), alarms and trip verification, interlock testing, and validation of control logic prior to hot commissioning Essential Criteria: Manual drivers Licence 2 years post trade experience strong work ethic work as part of a team or independently to a high standard Excellent written and verbal communication skills and time management skills White card Current unrestricted Qld Electrical Licence Ideal but not necessary: Certificate III and/or IV in Instrumentation and Control Desirable Criteria: HA licence EWP licence Hep A & B immunity experience with waste water electrical installations
