Embedded Expertise are seeking a Senior Control Systems Engineer for a Perth-based contract delivering a major AVEVA Plant SCADA upgrade (2018 R2 → 2023 R2) for one of our top clients. This is a hands-on, end-to-end project role, covering design, configuration, implementation, and commissioning within a live production environment, with ad-hoc site travel. Key Responsibilities Deliver full lifecycle SCADA engineering (design, build, test, deploy) Configure and develop in AVEVA Plant SCADA / Citect Support commissioning and parallel project delivery across multiple sites Contribute to risk, stakeholder engagement, and MoC processes Produce compliant engineering documentation aligned to SEP-78 Key Skills Strong AVEVA/Citect and Cicode experience SCADA upgrades in operational environments PLC integration (Allen Bradley, Schneider) SQL, virtualised environments, version control Automation/scripting (e.g. Python) About You Senior, self-sufficient CSE with full project lifecycle experience Strong documentation and governance capability BHP WAIO / SEP-78 experience highly regarded If you are interested in a long-term contract, based in Perth.
