About the role We are seeking a friendly and organised Administration Assistant to join the City of Swan’s Business and Tourism Services team on permanent part-time basis of 59 hours per fortnight. The Administration Assistant is responsible for providing professional and confidential administration and project management services for the business unit. This will include effective and timely communications when dealing with internal and external customer enquiries, maintaining information systems and providing a high level of support to the Manager. Key Accountabilities include, but are not limited to: Undertake a professional support role for the Manager Business and Tourism Services to ensure systems and processes maximise the provision of high-quality service Provide a confidential administrative and specific project management services for the Business and Tourism team Assist, maintain and monitor response systems for all enquiries, correspondence and meetings Facilitate and maintain effective liaison with internal and external customers and participate in the development, implementation and monitoring of customer service policies, standards and procedures Work co-operatively with team members in ensuring achievement of business unit and organisational goals, including work requests, maintaining stationery, event and training bookings Undertake and assist in the completion of special projects and provide assistance to other team members as necessary. About you The successful candidate will have the following: A satisfactory National Police Certificate Current ‘C’ class driver’s licence Demonstrated experience (2-3 years) in an administration and customer service Experience in working to deadlines and prioritising tasks to achieve outcomes Advanced customer services skills including the ability to resolve conflict Strong organisational skills, with good attention to detail and focus on accuracy Qualification(s) in Business Administration or similar will be highly regarded About working with us The salary for this position will be from $72,362.16 to $87,036.08 pro-rata, depending on the skills and experience of the successful applicant.
