Based in Oaklands Park, we have a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic individual to coordinate our daily rostering for our residential aged care facility. The Role The Rostering Coordinator is accountable for managing the daily rosters and scheduling programs of our Residential Services teams. The coordinator is responsible for ensuring efficient and effective organisational operations through a rostering program that ensures availability of appropriate skills at the required time. This role reports to the General Manager - Residential Services and is responsible for: Create effective scheduling and rostering services to ensure employee rosters efficiently meet service delivery requirements. Plan, forecast and assist in the management of workforce planning requirements - including roster changes, leave and absence planning and new employee onboarding to ensure effective coverage of all shifts to client needs and service delivery targets. Communicate effectively with employees and team members. Build and maintain strong relationships with our employees and internal team members, including Managers, People & Culture and Payroll. Maintain levels of accuracy, attention to detail and confidentiality. Contribute to the development of process improvements, ensuring consistent and best-practice rostering. About You We are looking for someone with the following: A minimum of 12 months experience working in a scheduling / rostering role. Experience working in a similar environment within Aged Care or Community Services is highly desirable. Experience with Care Systems/Rost Care would be highly desirable. Enjoys delivering a high level of service to employees and residents/clients. Exposure to timekeeping and payroll processes. Exceptional organisational skills and computer literacy. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work autonomously and self-manage in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail, with sound analytical and problem-solving skills.
