As an Occupational Rehabilitation Counsellor , you will help empower individuals with barriers to employment to gain sustainable work by providing tools and strategies that will assist them in removing their barriers, ultimately providing them with a pathway to sustainable employment. This is an exciting opportunity for a permanent role or a subcontractor to service our Workforce Australia and Inclusive Employment Australia sites in the Central Coast. A full Australian Drivers license is required for this role, to service our customers. This role effectively manages referrals to Professional Services from both Workforce Australia and Inclusive Employment Australia. There is a focus on removing non-vocational barriers to employment via counselling to ensure where possible a sustainable employment outcome for the client. The consultant will attend counselling at the NSW Central Coast sites - Wyong, Lake Haven, and The Entrance. You will: Provide relevant assessment and counselling services to our customers to assist in removing barriers Establish and maintain positive relationships with the customers and internal stakeholders Manage caseload for billing and ensure notes are accurate Provide a daily summary of customer counselling session outcomes and attendance to the Business Manager Why should you join WISE Employment? You will meet the following key requirements of the role: It is essential that you have a degree-level qualification in Rehabilitation Counselling, General Counselling, Social Work or a Registered Psychologist (with AHPRA) Ability to travel between sites Experience in one-to-one and group counselling Updating a database with clinical notes and billing Own ABN and Professional Indemnity and Professional Insurance if subcontracting vs an employee. Familiar with a fee-for-service basis Desirable - strong case management experience in a working with and counselling the long term unemployed or injury workers depending on the relevant program. Ability to provide a current Working with Children check and agreement to undergo a national Police check.
