About the Role We are seeking an experienced and proactive HR Coordinator to support HR operations across multiple construction sites and project teams. This is a hands-on role that goes beyond administration — you will be regularly engaging with site teams, supporting workforce onboarding, assisting with employee relations matters, and ensuring all HR processes are compliant and effectively embedded on site. Your focus will be ensuring our workforce remains compliant, supported and aligned with Bear Claw’s safety standards, company values and operational requirements. Key Responsibilities Site & Workforce Support Attend project sites (where applicable) to support supervisors, leading hands, and project managers with HR matters Support site onboarding including inductions, verification of tickets, and compliance checks Ensure all employees and subcontractors are correctly inducted and compliant before starting work Assist with workforce mobilisation and demobilisation across projects HR Administration & Coordination Coordinate end-to-end recruitment for site-based roles (labourers, trades, supervisors) Maintain employee records, HR systems, and personnel files Manage employment changes including onboarding, termination, transfers, and variations Employee Relations & Compliance Provide first-level support for employee queries and basic workplace issues Assist with investigations, incident follow-ups, and documentation Ensure compliance with Fair Work and company policies Track training, licences, and competency requirements (tickets, white cards, VOCs, etc.) About You Experience in HR, recruitment, or site administration (construction preferred) Knowledge of Microsoft 365, specifically Excel, Teams, SharePoint and Outlook Ability to manage confidential information professionally Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Strong understanding of HR processes and employment compliance Ability to communicate confidently with site teams and management Highly organised with strong attention to detail Able to manage multiple sites and competing priorities HR qualification is desirable What We offer: A supportive and collaborative multicultural environment Exposure to diverse HR activities and operational environments Opportunities for career growth and professional development Apply Now If you are looking for a dynamic HR role where you can make a genuine impact within a growing organisation, we would love to hear from you.
