St Mary’s Anglican Girls’ School is an independent day and boarding school for over 1450 girls from Kindergarten to Year 12. We are looking for an experienced teacher for this fulltime, fixed term role commencing Term 4 2026. The role will continue through to December 2027, with the possible opportunity of ongoing. The role involves teaching Year 7 English and HASS and having primary responsibility for the pastoral care of a Year 7 class. The role may also include teaching Year 8 to 10 English and/or HASS. Members of the Year 7 teaching team teach a combination of the core subjects of English, Humanities and Social Sciences, Science and Mathematics. Year 7 Art, Physical Education, Music, Religious Studies, Digital Technologies and Languages are taught by specialist teachers. An understanding of educational issues in an all-girls' environment, and the ability to teach up to Year 10, will be well regarded.
