An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Financial Accountant to join a large, ASX-listed retail and consumer business on a short-term temporary assignment. This role is ideal for someone looking for flexibility while still stepping into a fast-paced, commercially focused environment. Working closely with an experienced finance team, you will support a broad range of financial accounting, reporting, reconciliation, and process improvement activities across a complex retail network. The Opportunity Reporting to the Senior Accountant, this position will play a key role in supporting month-end processes, financial reporting, reconciliations, and operational finance activities. Key responsibilities will include: Assisting with month-end close processes including journals, accruals, reconciliations, and reporting Maintaining balance sheet integrity and supporting financial controls Supporting audit, BAS, FBT, and year-end processes Reconciling online sales and payment gateway transactions Supporting franchise and company store finance administration Assisting with process improvement initiatives and ad-hoc projects Managing stakeholder queries across stores and the broader business This role will suit someone who enjoys variety, working with large volumes of data, and collaborating with operational stakeholders in a dynamic retail environment.
