This is a key leadership role, working closely with Directors and senior site teams to embed a proactive, practical and high-performance HSEQ culture across the business. About the Role As the HSEQ Manager, you will take ownership of the organisation’s Integrated Management System and play a critical role in ensuring compliance, continuous improvement, and best practice across ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 9001 standards. You will work across office and site-based environments across Sydney CBD, supporting project teams and ensuring systems are not only compliant, but actively improving operational performance and safety outcomes. Key Responsibilities Lead the ongoing development, implementation, and maintenance of the company’s HSEQ Integrated Management System Drive a strong safety and quality culture across multiple fit-out, maintenance, and construction projects Ensure compliance with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 9001 standards Conduct audits, inspections, and monitor system effectiveness across projects Lead and support incident investigations, including high-risk events Provide clear, practical advice on WHS legislation and compliance requirements Develop and maintain a competency-based training matrix across the organisation Support continuous improvement initiatives, sharing lessons learned and best practice Act as a key point of contact for HammerTech administration, training, and system support Build strong relationships with Directors, project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders Support risk and opportunity identification within the Integrated Management System To Be Successful: Minimum Certificate IV in Workplace Health and Safety (essential) Lead Auditor qualification (or working towards) White Card (Construction Induction) 5 years’ experience in a similar HSEQ role within construction, fit-out, or maintenance environments Strong working knowledge of ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 9001 systems Proven experience across multi-site or multi-project environments Strong understanding of WHS legislation and practical application on site Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels A proactive, hands-on approach with strong attention to detail Ability to build trusted relationships across operational teams and leadership Apply Now or call Sophia on 0405 849 519 for a confidential discussion.
