About the Role The Telecommunications Technical Officer / Technologist position is responsible for supporting telecommunications systems, technical operations, and network-related activities within the business. The role involves assisting with installation coordination, system monitoring, troubleshooting, technical support, and ensuring telecommunications infrastructure and operational activities are carried out efficiently and in line with project and service requirements. Location: 35 Creekwood Circuit, Spring Mountain QLD 4300 Employment Type: Full-Time Salary: $75,000 to $85,000 Superannuation Key Responsibilities Assist with telecommunications installation, maintenance, and technical support activities Monitor telecommunications systems and network operations to support service reliability Conduct testing, fault identification, and troubleshooting of telecommunications equipment and systems Interpret technical documentation, system layouts, and telecommunications specifications Maintain technical records, operational reports, and service documentation Liaise with technical staff, contractors, suppliers, and project teams regarding operational requirements Assist with coordinating telecommunications equipment and infrastructure activities on-site Monitor system performance and report operational or technical issues where required Support compliance with workplace health and safety procedures during technical operations Work collaboratively with operational and technical teams to support efficient project and service delivery Skills & Experience Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma, or Diploma qualification in Telecommunications, Electronics, Information Technology, or related field Minimum 1–2 years of full-time relevant work experience in a similar role Understanding of telecommunications systems, network operations, and technical support processes Ability to interpret technical documentation and system specifications Strong organisational and problem-solving skills Ability to work effectively in a technical and fast-paced operational environment Good communication and coordination skills How to Apply Please submit your resume outlining your relevant experience and suitability for the position.
