About the role We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Receptionist & Senior Animal Attendant to join our team at the AAA Pet Resort in Mudgeeraba, Queensland. As a key member of our close-knit team, you will be responsible for providing outstanding customer service and ensuring the highest standards of animal care and welfare. We will be hiring a Casual Senior Animal Attendant and Part-time experienced Pet Resort Receptionist. ROLE 1 — RECEPTIONIST As our Receptionist you're the first voice our clients hear and the first face they see when they arrive. You set the tone for the whole experience and our clients are trusting us with the animals they love most. This is a part-time permanent role managing bookings, welcoming guests at check-in and check-out, answering enquiries, and making sure every pet parent leaves completely confident their fur baby is in wonderful hands. Your roster: • Monday: 8:00am – 1:00pm • Wednesday & Thursday: 8:00am – 5:00pm • Friday: 8:00am – 1:00pm • Sunday: 1:00pm – 5:00pm What you'll be doing • Welcoming pet owners at check-in and check-out with warmth and genuine care • Managing bookings and enquiries via phone, email and our booking system • Processing payments and keeping accurate records • Presenting and upselling our extras — nature walks, pool swims, meal upgrades and more • Sending photo updates to clients during their pet's stay • Coordinating with the kennel team throughout the day What we're looking for • A genuine love of animals — this is non-negotiable • Experience in a customer-facing reception or admin role • Warm, confident communicator — in person and on the phone • Reliable, organised and calm when it gets busy • Experience with animals (personal or professional) is highly regarded • Weekend availability is essential for this role Minimum 2 years of experience in a customer service or animal care role, preferably within the pet industry ROLE 2 — SENIOR KENNEL ATTENDANT As a Senior Kennel Attendant you're one of the most important people in the building. You're the one providing hands-on care for the animals in our suites — feeding, walking, swimming, enrichment — and you're experienced enough to lead by example, notice when something's not right, and guide junior team members. This is a casual position with consistent, regular hours. Specific days and shifts will be discussed at interview. Weekend availability is essential.
