Essential skills: • Understanding of design and civil engineering processes, including site experience if possible, and safe construction work practices • Good communication and skills with site personnel and also with engineers, to translate design and logistical requirements into drawings and sketches for efficient and safe site activities • Ability to coordinate with Rizzani de Eccher headquarters and technical departments independently and autonomously (hence very often in Italian), to understand the technical requirements and convert those into specific requests to local entities in Australia and prepare clear sketches to coordinate efficiently the interaction between the parties; vice versa, to feed proper inputs and requirements to the specialized personnel in Italy for the preparation / updates of methodologies, design and engineering outcomes, compliance checks, etc. • Understanding and ability to navigate design drawings, operational manuals, method statements and technical specifications / guidelines / codes of practice for the purpose of assisting engineers, supervisors and workforce to coordinate the works with internally developed drawings (to be easier to read), extraction of quantities, tracking of quality, safety and program performances • Ability to use Word and Excel to prepare, analyze and monitor Safety registers, Method Statements, BOQ’s, QA checklist, etc. • Deep understanding and knowledge of AutoCAD (2D and, preferred, 3D) and general knowledge of Bim360 and Doc Control systems • Strong to read and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics, with general knowledge in PLCs and industrial automation systems • Based in the main local office in Adelaide, but with ability to move easily within Australia and New Zealand for site works coordination Employment experience: • Relevant qualification in the industrial and trade sector, major in “maintenance & technical assistance”, option: industrial and civil services systems and equipment; with preferred background / specialization in drafting (CAD), quality, survey and drafting principles for site layout and construction quantity surveying • 6 years, with preference for Italian and Australian experience in mechanical, electrical or civil technical fields, with strong site experience in construction, industrial environments and/or design/engineering works (ideally bridges, viaducts and tunnels) • Italian language proficiency is an advantage.
