About the role The GP Hub on Thynne Street is seeking a passionate and experienced Medical Receptionist to join our team on a part-time / full time / casual basis. Based in Bruce, this role is essential in providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to our medical practice and patients What you'll be doing Greeting and welcoming patients in a friendly and professional manner Scheduling appointments and managing the practice's appointment book Handling patient inquiries, both in-person and via phone, email or other channels Assisting with the processing of patient registrations, records and medical claims Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient information in the practice management system Providing general administrative support to the clinical team as required Ensuring the clinic is well-organised and presentable at all times What we're looking for Previous experience as a medical receptionist is essential. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with patients from diverse backgrounds Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills, with attention to detail Proficient in using medical practice management software and computer systems. We use Best practice and Xestro softwares. A friendly, professional and empathetic demeanour when interacting with patients The ability to work collaboratively within a team and adapt to a fast-paced environment This role includes flexible working outside of business hours, during weekends and/or on public holidays What we offer Competitive hourly rate - dependent on past experience and performance.
