Loader Operator – Brinkley Depot Peats Soil & Garden Supplies Peats Soil is one of South Australia’s leading composting and soil manufacturing companies, supplying premium soils, mulches and growing media across the state. We are a proudly family-owned business with operations across multiple depots and a strong focus on sustainability, recycling and quality products. We are currently looking for a reliable and experienced Loader Operator to join our team at our Brinkley Depot. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in their machinery, and works well as part of a team. The Role Your day-to-day duties will include: Operating Modern Caterpillar front-end loaders to move and load compost, soils and raw materials Loading trucks and trailers safely and efficiently Feeding production equipment and maintaining stockpiles Basic machine pre-start checks and reporting any faults Assisting with general yard duties when required Maintaining a safe and tidy work environment About You We are looking for someone who: Has experience operating front end loaders (essential) Holds the relevant loader ticket or VOC Is reliable, safety focused and takes pride in their work Or any other heavy vehicle tickets Can work independently and as part of a team Is physically fit and comfortable working outdoors Has good communication and attention to detail What We Offer Full-time or casual stable work Competitive rates - depending on experience and qualifications Monday to Friday roster Weekends and overtime opportunities during peak times A supportive team environment Opportunity to work with modern machinery Training and development opportunities within a growing company Location This position is based at our Brinkley Depot, near Murray Bridge.
