Café All-Rounder / Hospitality Team Member Coffee Works – Mareeba Coffee Works Mareeba is seeking a Café All-Rounder to join our hospitality team. This is a hands-on hospitality role suited to someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and genuinely loves looking after guests. This position will commence as a casual role, with the potential to expand into permanent full-time work for the right person. While coffee experience is important, this role is much more than standing behind a coffee machine. We are looking for someone who can confidently work across all areas of café service and contribute to the overall guest experience. About the Role You will be involved in all aspects of daily café operations, including: Guest service and customer interaction Food preparation and food handling Running food and beverages Maintaining café presentation and cleanliness Assisting with stock, restocking, and general day-to-day operations Supporting the team during busy service periods Sharing product knowledge and assisting guests throughout the Coffee Works experience Barista duties will also form part of the role, including: Preparing high-quality espresso coffee Dialling in grinders and maintaining consistency Milk texturing and basic latte art Following brew ratios and extraction standards About You To succeed in this role, you will: Have previous café or hospitality experience Be confident working in a fast-paced environment Have strong communication and multitasking skills Be reliable, professional, and well presented Work well within a team environment Take initiative and have a strong work ethic Be passionate about hospitality and guest experience Preferred Experience Previous café or hospitality experience Barista experience in a busy environment Food handling and hygiene knowledge Basic understanding of espresso extraction and workflow If you enjoy hospitality, love working with people, and want to be part of a unique and energetic café environment surrounded by coffee, chocolate, and great people — we’d love to hear from you.
