You will drive innovation, value, and strong regulatory outcomes across the community while working closely with the General Manager Environmental Health and Regulation, the Senior Leadership Team, and key stakeholders. As Team Manager Regulation, you will lead the development and delivery of strategies, policies, and programs that ensure effective enforcement of local laws, animal management, and parking services. You’ll support sound financial decision‑making, improve how we manage our customer requests, and look for smarter ways of working through innovation and continuous improvement. With strong relationships across all levels of government, industry and the community, you’ll help ensure our community safety in line with legislative obligations. About You Our ideal candidate will be a proven senior leader with contemporary leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively across the organisation, including with the Leadership Team, elected Council and key external stakeholders. You will bring strong financial and budget management experience, with the ability to balance resources, meet statutory obligations and deliver high‑quality services and customer outcomes. With a strong strategic and policy mindset, you will be skilled at influencing, engaging and bringing people together to achieve shared goals. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with experience managing legislative workloads from planning through to deliver and reporting at executive level. Above all, you will demonstrate integrity, personal drive and a genuine commitment to teamwork, supported by relevant tertiary qualifications in Law, Business or a related field and a successful track record as a Senior Manager in a large, diverse organisation.
