Tweed Mall Medical Centre is seeking a casual Medical Receptionist. With experience in a busy medical office and a focus on great service, you’ll be the first point of contact for patients, managing appointments, inquiries, and key admin tasks. Reporting to a supportive Practice Manager, you’ll help keep our centre running smoothly while supporting doctors and staff. Key Responsibilities: Greet and assist patients and visitors with professionalism and warmth. Efficiently schedule, reschedule, and manage cancellations to optimize patient flow. Accurately verify patient information using Best Practice software. Handle phone calls and inquiries, ensuring timely message relay and follow-up. Assist doctors and staff with various administrative tasks to maintain seamless clinic operations. Process billing and payments in line with business requirements. Maintain accurate patient records and update medical documentation while adhering to privacy regulations. Address and resolve patient concerns, ensuring the highest level of customer service. Selection Criteria: Demonstrable experience in a medical office setting or similar environment. Experience with Best Practice software and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Strong organizational skills and the capacity to multitask efficiently. Flexible availability across a range of weekdays and working hours
