ROLE – Systems Integration Engineer SALARY - $130,000 - $150,000 per annum, dependent on experience TYPE – Permanent LOCATION – Adelaide, SA My client specialises in the design and delivery of complex engineering and robotic solutions in a high-tech industry. They are looking for a Systems Integration Engineer to join their team in Adelaide on a permanent basis. The Systems Integration Engineer will ideally have the following attributes: At least 3 years of experience in a similar Systems Integration Engineering position Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Systems Engineering or similar Strong understanding of hardware and software integration within complex engineering systems Experience with embedded systems, sensors, communications protocols and control systems Knowledge of CAN bus, Ethernet, serial communications or similar networking protocols Experience with system testing, validation and troubleshooting activities Familiarity with Linux environments and scripting/programming languages such as Python or C++ would be beneficial Experience integrating sensors such as LiDAR, GPS, IMUs, cameras or telemetry systems would be advantageous Able to read and interpret technical documentation, schematics and system architecture diagrams Strong problem-solving and fault-finding abilities Comfortable working in R&D and prototype development environments Able to work both independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary engineering teams Strong communication skills and able to manage workload to project deadlines The Systems Integration Engineer role will involve: Integrating software, hardware and control systems across a range of engineering projects Supporting system design, configuration and testing activities Conducting system integration, validation and verification activities Troubleshooting integration, communication and performance issues across complex systems Working closely with mechanical, electrical and software engineering teams throughout the product lifecycle Supporting prototype builds, testing and field trials Integrating sensors, payloads and communications systems into robotic platforms Assisting with system configuration, calibration and commissioning activities Creating and maintaining technical documentation, reports and test procedures Supporting continuous improvement activities for system reliability and performance Working within a multi-disciplinary engineering team on varied and technically challenging projects If you are interested in this position, please apply with an up to date CV as soon as possible.
