The Species and Communities Program coordinates the listing, management and planning for recovery of threatened species and ecological communities. The program provides policy, strategic and technical advice on fauna, flora, ecological community and wetland conservation. We are currently seeking a Senior Conservation Zoologist to join our team. This position provides leadership for biodiversity conservation programs and expert advice on conservation policy, wildlife utilisation and management regarding threatened fauna and other species of conservation significance. Liaises with departmental staff and external stakeholders and represents the department on issues relating to fauna conservation.
