Paradox Sydney is currently seeking an experienced and service-driven Housekeeping Service Manager to join its dynamic hospitality team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated hospitality professional to lead housekeeping operations within a fast-paced luxury hotel environment. General Duties & Responsibilities Oversee the cleanliness, presentation, and maintenance of all public and back-of-house areas Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality and cleanliness standards are consistently maintained Lead the coordination of guest service requests, including priority cleaning and special requirements Monitor room readiness in collaboration with Front Office to support arrivals and daily operational flow Provide real-time updates on room status, delays, and operational priorities Coordinate VIP arrivals and ensure all requirements are delivered efficiently and professionally Supervise public area attendants, housepersons, and housekeeping team leaders Provide coaching, leadership, and performance feedback to team members Ensure compliance with SOPs, grooming standards, and hotel service expectations Monitor stock levels of housekeeping and public area supplies and coordinate replenishment as required Support cost control initiatives through efficient use of materials and minimisation of wastage Supervise contractors operating within housekeeping areas and ensure compliance with hotel safety and operational procedures Coordinate contractor scheduling to minimise disruption to guests Address and resolve guest requests, concerns, and operational issues promptly and professionally Maintain effective communication with Front Office, Engineering, and Duty Managers Report maintenance issues and follow up on corrective actions Ensure all housekeeping staff follow WHS and safety procedures and use equipment correctly Support all Responsible Business and environmental sustainability initiatives Customer Service Expectations Meet and exceed Paradox service and people standards Deliver value-added service by proactively exceeding guest expectations wherever possible Communicate effectively with guests, colleagues, and management Demonstrate strong teamwork by supporting colleagues across departments when required Handle difficult situations professionally and in line with company standards and policies Maintain respectful and professional relationships with guests, management, and fellow team members at all times Respond to operational “crunch calls” when required Assist other hotel departments and outlets as directed by management About You Previous experience in a housekeeping supervisory or management role within a hotel environment Strong leadership and organisational skills Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high cleanliness standards Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced operational environment Strong communication and problem-solving abilities Knowledge of workplace health and safety procedures within hospitality operations This is a fantastic opportunity to join a respected hotel brand and contribute to delivering exceptional guest experiences in one of Sydney’s leading hospitality environments.
