About The Role This is a permanent part time role working 24 hours per week, located in Kiama. The Practice Nurse is a valued member of the clinical team, providing safe, evidence-based, and patient-centred care within a fast-paced general practice environment. This role requires a strong understanding of primary healthcare, the scope of nursing practice in general practice, and the ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. You will contribute to the delivery of high-quality clinical services through nurse-led clinics, coordinated multidisciplinary patient care, and preventative health initiatives. Recent clinical nursing experience, preferably within a general practice, primary care or community health setting. Demonstrated commitment to delivering patient-centred care, with a compassionate and respectful approach to individuals from diverse backgrounds. Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with patients across all age groups and social demographics. Proven ability to maintain strict confidentiality and exercise sound professional judgement in handling sensitive patient and practice information.
