About the Role: As a Frame and Truss Detailer/Estimator, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the meticulous design and detailing of timber roof trusses and frames for residential projects. Using cutting-edge computer-aided software and adhering strictly to Australian standards, you'll uphold the highest quality standards while aligning with our company's policies and procedures. Responsibilities: Design and calculate building materials to suit client specifications and details provided. Liaise and problem-solve with clients, suppliers and team members when required. Experienced in using estimating software is essential. Effective communication skills with customers, architects, and engineers. Interpret and convert architectural plans into 3D construction models via our design software. Prepare accurate roof, frame and floor estimates using various software . Provide manufacturing staff and clients with technical information. Perform general admin duties. Key Selection Criteria: Extensive experience in roles such as construction detailer, draftsman, or estimator. Proficiency in construction detailing software. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. IT proficiency coupled with a knack for problem-solving. Professionalism, enthusiasm, and a reputation for reliability.
