Swan Transit is currently seeking a Permanent Part Time Bus Service Officer to work at Whitfords Station. About the Role We are looking for a customer service focused individual that has a strong commitment to safety, dedicated to delivering an outstanding experience to our passengers. This is a Part-time position, Monday to Friday, supporting customers during peak morning (6:45AM to 9AM) and late afternoon (2:45PM to 6:30PM) periods, averaging 30 hours per week. This position will report to Joondalup Depot. Key Responsibilities Respond to passenger enquiries regarding services, connections, local attractions, and ticketing Monitor bus operations to ensure services run smoothly and adhere to the approved timetable Coordinate bus services with other Transperth connections Provide support and assistance to drivers as required Conditions Uniform provided Paid Training & Development opportunities About You Hold a valid driver’s licence and have access to reliable transport Demonstrate excellent customer service skills Ability to assess situations quickly and make practical decisions Strong conflict resolution and interpersonal skills Skills, Qualifications & Experience Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication skills, including a professional phone manner Sound knowledge of the metropolitan area and bus network Ability to obtain a Working with Children Check Ability to obtain National Police Clearance Certificate.
