The successful applicant will assist DCS Procurement Team to deliver on its purpose of being the most Customer Centric Procurement Function by providing timely, insightful, outcome-based advice to our customers. The successful applicant will support DCS Corporate Procurement to provide procurement and operations support. DCS Procurement has three functions within the team: Business Partnering, Sourcing, and Centre of Excellence. This role sits within the Centre of Excellence team and reports to the Associate Director, Centre of Excellence. Your responsibilities will include: Assisting the team with compliance including performing document control in TRIM, updating information sources on SharePoint and maintaining databases Drafting and sending communication through reports and general correspondence of changes to broader teams Maintaining information in the central contracts register Supporting the team with day to day enquiries and administrative duties Managing queries and escalations through to conclusion Support the delivery of training across DCS Coordinate and manage records and databases, complying with administrative systems, processes and policies About you: You are genuinely passionate about procurement and helping your team achieve the business needs. You will have demonstrable experience in thinking and solving problems, be adept in data analytics and delivering excellence in administrative services. You are committed to your team and are flexible and reliable when your help is needed. You have a customer centric mindset and procurement experience is desired. Some of your key attributes include: Ability to manage and adapt to multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Highly organised with efficient time management skills. Enjoyment working in a team and supporting the needs of the business. Experience with high volume data entry. An understanding of government policies and procedures, particularly document control processes. Experience supporting a medium sized team and ability to deliver excellent customer service. Problem-solve with high attention to detail. Curious learner who can pick up new systems quickly.
