About the Role Are you passionate about making a real difference in people’s lives through building strong relationships that help create sustainable tenancies. We are seeking a dedicated Tenancy Manager to join our team in Ingle Farm and provide outstanding tenancy management and support for tenants living in our community. Key Responsibilities: Ensuring that tenancies within the portfolio are managed and maintained, leases are up to date, properties are inspected and reviewed, and rent reviews are managed Keeping tenant records accurate and up to date in CHINTARO software Maintaining data for all tenants in accordance with Salvation Army Housing (SAH) timelines, standards and procedures Addressing high risk situations involving tenants within required time frames, as per The Salvation Army’s (TSA) policy and procedure Providing assistance to assess tenant issues, needs and circumstances Developing strategies to address tenant needs within relevant policy and procedure and Residential Tenancy Act (RTA) guidelines What you will bring To be successful for this role, the ideal applicant will have a genuine passion to support vulnerable people in our community to achieve successful tenancies and long term housing goals. You will have demonstrated experience in engaging with a wide cross section of individuals and an ability to prioritise workloads. Key capabilities : Associate diploma with relevant experience or lesser formal qualifications with substantial years of relevant experience. Demonstrated experience in tenancy, property management, or client support roles, with a strong commitment to housing outcomes. Strong understanding of the Residential Tenancies Act and ability to interpret its legal implications for affordable and community housing. Sound understanding of tenancy legislation (or willingness to learn), and confidence managing leases, arrears, inspections, and tenancy issues. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to support tenants facing complex challenges with empathy and respect. Why work for us?
