Benchmark Electrical Network is looking for a reliable and motivated 2nd or 3rd Year Electrical Apprentice to join our growing team. This role is suited to someone who already has solid hands-on experience and is looking to continue developing their skills across residential, maintenance, fault-finding, switchboard upgrades, renovations and small commercial electrical work. You will work alongside a licensed electrician while also being trusted to complete suitable tasks independently as your skills progress. Key Responsibilities The role will include : Assisting with residential and light commercial electrical work Installing and replacing lights, power points, switches and fittings Assisting with switchboard upgrades and RCD/RCBO installations Running cables through roof spaces, under floors and in conduit Helping with fault-finding and electrical maintenance Installing ceiling fans, bathroom heater lights and general household electrical items Assisting with new circuits, appliance circuits and outdoor power installations Maintaining a clean and safe worksite Communicating professionally with clients Following company procedures, safety requirements and AS/NZS 3000 standards Looking after tools, materials and company equipment What We Offer Variety of residential and commercial work Hands-on training with experienced electricians Supportive team environment Opportunity to grow with the business Consistent work around Canberra and surrounding areas Long-term opportunity for the right person A work van with fuel card
