We're currently seeking a Client Service Officer to become the welcoming face and first point of contact for clients and their beloved pets. About the Role: This is not your average reception role — working at SASH you'll be part of a fast-paced, 24/7 emergency and specialist hospital where every day presents new challenges and the opportunity to make a real difference. Rostering & Shifts This is a 12-18 month part time role, operates a part time on a fortnightly roster and includes every second weekend Saturday (fortnightly): 12:00pm – 10:00pm Sunday (fortnightly): 12:00pm – 10:00pm Thursday: 12:00pm – 10:00pm Friday: 12:00pm – 10:00pm Monday: 9:00am – 7:00pm Tuesday: 9:00am – 7:00pm Key Responsibilities: Front of house duties (e.g. greeting clients and managing waiting rooms) Managing a high-volume calls and emails across multiple systems Coordination and booking appointments across various departments Act as a liaison between clients and clinical staff Handling of cash, EFTPOS and other payments, including processing insurance claims Request results, samples, and documentation from third parties About You: As a successful applicant you will be a team player with a proactive mindset, ready to take on a role that is both challenging and deeply rewarding. You thrive in a busy environment and are passionate about providing a high level of service to both clients and their pets. At least 2 years' experience in a high-volume reception or customer facing administrative role Ability to commit to 10 shift structure with hours anywhere between 6am - 10pm Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written Strong initiative and ability to prioritise tasks in a busy environment A natural ability to stay calm and empathetic, even under pressure A passion for animals and delivering outstanding customer service Why Join SASH?
