About the Role We are excited to present an excellent opportunity for an experienced and passionate Broker Lending Officer to join our dynamic team in our Townsville office. In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering timely, accurate, and friendly service to our members and third-party introducers. You will utilise your strong lending experience to manage loan writing and financial analysis, recommend suitable products and services, and identify opportunities to cross-sell additional offerings to our members. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate clear and confident communication skills, and be adaptable to changing priorities while maintaining a high standard of professionalism and service. This is full time 18-month contract position, based on a 38-hour working week with preferred location for this position to be in Townsville. About You To be eligible for this position, you should possess the following qualifications and skills: Previous experience in mortgage lending, with regular exposure to credit applications. Proficient in analyzing financial statements to inform lending decisions. Strong understanding of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures. Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to negotiate and resolve conflicts. Exceptional time management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Experience within the Financial Services industry.
