Established South Australian property group seeks an experienced, commercially astute Senior Operational Leader to oversee a substantial and diverse Adelaide-based portfolio spanning commercial property, hospitality and associated operations. This is not a “corporate” role. It is a hands-on leadership opportunity suited to a highly resilient, pragmatic operator who thrives in fast-moving privately owned environments and who enjoys taking ownership across a broad range of operational and commercial matters. The business has been built over decades and holds an extensive portfolio of (mainly CBD-based) assets, with long-term stability, strong market presence and significant ongoing activity. You will work closely with the owner and oversee the day-to-day operational performance of the broader group, ensuring assets, people and operations continue to perform effectively. The Opportunity This newly created role will suit a highly capable senior operator who can confidently manage: Commercial property operations Leasing coordination and tenant management Hospitality venue oversight Contractor and supplier management Facilities and maintenance coordination Staff leadership and accountability Operational troubleshooting and problem solving General business administration and oversight Driving operational efficiency across the broader portfolio This is a broad, influential position where no two days will look the same. About You To succeed in this role, you will need to bring: Previous experience in a General Management, Operations Management or senior leadership role Strong commercial judgement and common sense Exceptional resilience and emotional maturity The ability to work effectively within an owner-led private business environment Confidence making decisions and handling competing priorities Strong communication and relationship management skills A hands-on, proactive approach The ability to bring structure, accountability and calm under pressure Experience within property, hospitality, facilities management or multi-site operations environments will be highly regarded.
