You'll work across our entire stack, from client SMB environments through to the HCI platform that runs our private cloud. You'll report to the CTO and work closely with our L3 engineering team and account managers. What you'll be doing Project delivery for clients including M365 tenant builds and migrations, infrastructure refreshes, datacentre migrations, cybersecurity uplift programs, and Essential Eight maturity work Presales consulting alongside our account managers. You'll be in scoping calls, helping shape solutions, building statements of work, and providing the technical credibility that helps us win deals Designing, building, and operating our private cloud HCI platform across two datacentres Solid networking work across client environments and our datacentre, including switching, routing, VLANs, firewall policy, and site-to-site IPSec tunnels between clients and our private cloud Stepping in on the tough stuff. Complex incidents, gnarly escalations, problems no one else can crack. Not day-to-day ticket work, but the calls that matter Mentoring and lifting the team by example. We have a strong group of L3 engineers and we want someone who raises the bar and is happy to share knowledge What you'll bring 10 years in infrastructure, systems, or cloud engineering, ideally in an MSP or consulting environment Deep hands-on experience with hyper-converged infrastructure. We don't mind which platforms you've worked with (Hyper-V, Proxmox, VMware vSAN, Nutanix, or similar) as long as you understand how compute, storage, and networking come together in a HCI cluster and can troubleshoot any layer Strong Microsoft 365 modern work background covering Entra ID, Conditional Access, Intune, Exchange Online, SharePoint and OneDrive, Defender for 365 and Defender for Endpoint, and tenant security baselines such as CIS Solid networking fundamentals across switching, routing, VLANs, firewalls, wireless, and site-to-site VPNs.
