An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Lead Planner to join a leading project delivery contractor working across major projects within the Energy, Renewables, Water, Transport, and Data Centre sectors . This role will play a critical part in the successful planning and delivery of complex infrastructure projects from tender through to construction, commissioning, and handover. You will work closely with senior project teams to develop robust project programs, monitor project performance, and drive successful project outcomes across a diverse portfolio of works. Key Responsibilities: Lead project planning and scheduling activities across multiple infrastructure projects. Develop, maintain, and manage detailed project programs from tender through to delivery and commissioning. Coordinate planning inputs across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams. Monitor project progress and performance against baseline programs. Identify schedule risks, delays, and opportunities, implementing mitigation strategies where required. Conduct critical path analysis and provide strategic planning recommendations to project leadership teams. Prepare progress reports, look-aheads, earned value analysis, and forecasting updates. Facilitate planning workshops, program reviews, and stakeholder meetings. Assist with claims preparation, extension of time assessments, and contractual reporting requirements. Support resource planning and cost-loaded scheduling activities. Ensure planning and reporting processes align with project and client requirements. About You: Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related discipline. Proven experience as a Senior Planner or Lead Planner within large-scale infrastructure environments. Strong project exposure across one or more sectors including: Energy Renewables Water Transport Infrastructure Data Centres Advanced experience using Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project. Strong understanding of construction methodologies, project controls, and delivery sequencing. Experience working on multidisciplinary EPC and/or civil infrastructure projects. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving capability with attention to detail.
