The Role As Specialist – Gastroenterology, you will provide high-quality inpatient, outpatient, and endoscopic services within a collaborative multidisciplinary team environment. You will also play an important role in: Teaching and supervision within a strong Basic Physician Training (BPT) program Medical student education through links with James Cook University Clinical governance, quality improvement, and service development initiatives Supporting and mentoring junior medical staff The department offers exposure to a broad range of complex and diverse gastroenterology presentations across a large regional referral network.
