Backed by an integrated plant fleet and a growing project pipeline, the business is entering its next phase of disciplined growth and is seeking strong operational leadership to help drive performance and project outcomes. The Opportunity This is a pivotal Project Manager appointment with full accountability across estimating, programming, commercial management, productivity optimisation and end-to-end project delivery. You will lead engineers, supervisors and plant operations teams across multiple work fronts, ensuring production targets, margin control and client expectations are consistently achieved. This role is ideally suited to a commercially astute civil Project Manager who understands plant efficiency, production rates, contract risk and cost drivers — and can translate that knowledge into disciplined site execution and measurable project performance. The preferred location is Rockhampton or Yeppoon. FIFO from major Queensland hubs will be considered for an exceptional candidate, with regular integration into the Rockhampton head office. Key Responsibilities Oversee bulk earthworks, roads and drainage delivery across active projects Manage budgets, forecasting, cost control and margin performance Drive plant productivity and programme adherence Lead subcontractor engagement, contract administration and claims management Maintain strong client reporting and stakeholder relationships Provide hands-on operational leadership across site teams About You Proven experience as a Civil Project Manager delivering earthworks and infrastructure projects Strong production-driven earthworks background with plant-intensive exposure Demonstrated commercial and contractual capability Confident leading multi-disciplinary site teams and driving accountability Australian working rights required Must have AU PR or Citizenship Why This Role?
